How to Arrive to Paris

Paris is the capital of France and it is well connected to almost every country by its three airports, and also is connected by train with the more closest countries with the TGV network.

By Plane

Paris has three different airports, Charles de Gaulle in the north, Orly in the south and Beauvais also at the north of the city. More information about the airports can be found at http://www.aeroportsdeparis.fr/ and at http://www.aeroportbeauvais.com.

Aeroport Charles de Gaulle

The best way to arrive to the city center from the Aeroport Charles de Gaulle is to take the train RER B. The cost of a single ticket to the city is of 9,75€.

Aeroport d’Orly

There are different ways to arrive to Paris, the most usuals are.

  1. Orlybus: Probably the simplest way to arrive to the city is to take the Orlybus. This shuttle bus departs from the two terminals at the airport and has its arrival at Denfert-Rochereau station, where you can change to the metro or the RER.  The cost of the bus is EUR 7,50.

  2. Orlyval+RER: Orlyval is a shuttle train that connects the airport with the RER B station of Antony. The ticket costs EUR 8,50 and includes the RER B ticket.

Aeroport de Beauvais

The fastest way to arrive to Paris from this airport is to take the shuttle bus that will take you to Porte Maillot. The cost of this service is 17€.

By Train

There are 7 train stations in Paris: Gare du Nord, Gare de l'Est, Gare Saint-Lazare, Gare Montparnasse, Gare de Lyon, Gare de Bercy and Gare d'Austerlitz. They are situated around the city and are well connected with metro and RER services.
